| AWARDS *Awarded the Alamo Community College District Title VI-A Foreign Language Grant 2005. Category: Foreign Language audio/video content for online approaches. Title: Purchasing, digitizing, and streamlining ‘Destinos Spanish Episodes’ that may be used within the Alamo Community College District. *Awarded the WebCt Master Certification and Grant 2003 by the University of Texas San Antonio Category: Bringing Technology in the Classroom - included a three week intense WebCt training period; and the Development of two Asynchronous (100 % online) Spanish Course during the training period. *Awarded a Technology Stipend by the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at the University of Texas at San Antonio 2002. Category: The Development of two asynchronous online Spanish courses. The courses were developed to convey and teach the students Spanish grammar, conversation, reading and listening skills. With an International focus and understanding of the Spanish Speaking countries and their relationship with the World. *Received a Cash Gift for the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures Study Abroad fund at UTSA, from H.E.Butt Grocery Company 2005. *Received a Cash Gift towards my PhD education from H.E.Butt Grocery Company 2005. |
